The Light I Never Knowed


I wanted to climb that tree

But seasons change

The leaves fell beautifully

The branches fell, too.


Installation/poem for the light art exhibition LUX IN, which was part of the LUX Helsinki Light Art Festival 2017. 

In this piece I worked on the aspect and phenomena of the ungraspable. 
Things you aim for, things and people you desire and admire are sometimes absurdly difficult to reach. Sometimes you don't even know what it actually is you're aiming for. And at the end of the day you must accept that you can't always get what you want. Although that feeling tears you apart.
